Mental Spins

Siddhananda: By the way, this guy is saying, "Mental spins."

G:  Oh, okay (laughing with Siddhananda).

Siddhananda: Mental ... spin ... spin ... spin, spin, spin, spin, spin ... like a centrifuge (moving her index finger in circles with increasing speed).

G:  Ooh! (shaking her head)

Siddhananda:  Yeah ... Yeahhh.

G:  Not fun.

Siddhananda: Spinning, spinning, spinning, spinning, spinn-iinngg .. not stopp-iinngg (giggling a little). Where's the off button (laughing). Anyway, he's hoping to get himself together enough to just say, “Help!”

Spirit: Help me please! I'm spinning hard.

G:  Yeah.

Spirit: How do I stop the spinning?

G:  He might want to start with the COS.

Siddhananda: Ah, he's saying, “Wonderful," and even as you say that, he feels there's some hope for stopping this.

G:  Yeah, he can start with the COS. The mantras should help him greatly to start to slow down ... slow down things, and just take things one step at a time. Be willing to open, to sit, and to just see what's there instead of having a lot of dialogue about what's there.

Siddhananda: I can see a little, little, little shift there (closing her eyes).

G:  Mm hmm.

Siddhananda: Yeah, he said that he's done that, and it's fed by desire and worry … like a fuel for it ... conditionings.

G:  Yeah, conditionings and things, exactly. So, you have to put your attention on the mantra and stay there, rather than in the mind spin, and eventually that mind spin will start to slow down.

Siddhananda: Mm hmm ... mm hmm ... okay.

Spirit: I just will wait for the COS then, or ... ?

G:  Yeah, someone can give it to you from there.

Spirit: Yes. So, I'm just kind of out of it, and I can't totally take in everything. Yes, they will help.

G:  They will help from the other side. I think they can give him the mantras as well.

Siddhananda: Yes. Yes, they said they'd help me.

G:  Yeah, okay.

Spirit: And, it's fine, thank you. Thank you so much.

G:  You’re welcome (gesturing with namaste hands). If he wanted he could spend some time in one of the cathedrals here.

Siddhananda: He would like that. He would like to soak in the energy longer.

G: Yeah, it might help him to settle if he's in a more settled state of energy surrounding him.

Siddhananda: He's already relaxing.

Spirit: Yes, please, I don't know where else I was going to go from here.

G:  So, we can go ahead and put him over there and let him [settle] (handing the stone to Siddhananda). The others that are in there, their energy, will help him a little bit to settle.

Siddhananda: That's the thing (setting the stone down in front of the crystal cathedrals). You can choose (speaking to the spirit). He's not sure. He's kind of going a little to both. I think he's going to chose this purple [one] (pointing to the purple amethyst cathedral). That's where he's heading now. He really likes it in there.

G:  Mm hmm. Yeah, we have someone that is in stillness there, and that will help as well.

Siddhananda: He's good, and he's in there. He's feeling good with that.

G:  Good deal.
