Siddhananda: (Showing a clear stone). (long pause with closed eyes). Okay, i'm seeing a heart on fire.
G: hmm hmm (nodding).
Siddhananda: With the imagery, like the manifestations, burning in it (gesturing things burning in fire).
G: Okay.
Siddhananda: (pause)
G: Do you have a message or did you come to seek something?
Siddhananda: Seems like they have a question.
G: Okay.
Siddhananda: Maybe something about the scriptures.
G: Okay, what is the question?
Siddhananda: (pause). i'm hearing two - Ashtavakra Gita and Bhagavad Gita.
G: Ashtavakra and which one?
Siddhananda: Bhagavad?
G: Ah, Bhagavad Gita. Okay. Bhagavad Gita and the Ashtavakra Gita, what about them?
Spirit: Are they the same?
G: They are the same. But, [with] the Bhagavad Gita, what you want to go to is the last Gita (Uddhava Gita). And, in the last Gita is where Krishna is more talking to his long term devotee (Uddhava) and explaining to him basically non-duality. The Ashtavakra Gita is non-duality. It's the way of non-duality. Part of the Bhagavad Gita is how to live your life, etc. etc. etc., but, when you get to the very last part of it then it talks really about non-duality. So, yes, they are the same in the end.
Siddhananda: They said thank you for that clarification. (pause). i'm feeling the substance of those texts coming in, being brought into this soul.
G: Yeah.
Siddhananda: Thank you so much (gesturing namaste).
G: Namaste (gesturing namaste).
Namaste, thank you for the message and for the tracription

ReplyDeleteNamaste, thank you for the transcription. I remember reading the Gita just for kicks last year, and I remembered Guruji years ago telling us not to read it (not on the reading list she wanted us to concentrate on at the time). At any rate it became clear, when I did read it much later, why she did this. . . it would have been a waste of time because it basically is all the pointings we were getting already, plus there's a lot that could confuse a seeker who might not be familiar with some of the subtleties of what is said there.

Namaste, thank you for the post and clarification. Om, Cheri
ReplyDeleteNamaste - nice that this was clarified so quickly for this spirit by Guru and that the substance of the texts are being absorbed in.
ReplyDeleteNamaste, thank you for posting- Guruji is the only place I have even heard about the uddhava Gita, let alone the pointings about it being non dual
ReplyDeleteNamaste- Very nice, thank you..Om
