Free-Will

Siddhananda: So, here is the next one (showing a small dark stone). (pause). Okay, their question or what they're asking is "I like to make my life good."

G: Their life, what?

Siddhananda: They would like to make their life good.

G: Okay. So, what's preventing them from doing that?

Siddhananda: (pause). They feel like they made their life bad. (smiling).

G: hmm hmm. Yeah, they can change it whenever they want. They just have to make different choices than what they made, that's all.

Siddhananda: Yeah, they say they behaved wrong in the past.

G: Right. So, they change that. That's what's called repenting. You repent and you change the direction, that's all. You just be willing to take a different road. Don't keep going down and keep making the same choices.

Siddhananda: Right before you said "road", i saw like how you have the fork in the road, two roads being presented..

G: Right.

Siddhananda: And they have a choice. And it's free will to walk one or the other.

G: Exactly. Nobody can force you to be good, that is your choice. Just because you've made wrong choices in the past doesn't mean you cannot turn over a new leaf and make a different choice.

Siddhananda: (nodding). (pause). Okay, they're understanding what you said, but, they feel like they might have an evil seed in them.

G: That they have a what?

Siddhananda: That maybe they have an evil seed in them.

G: No, there's no evil seed. That's only in their mind. They're holding to that, and they're creating that in themselves. But, there is no such thing as an evil seed in there. The only seed in there is that point of God (pointing to heart center) that gives them life. So, how is that evil? (smiling).

Siddhananda: (pause). They just felt like maybe sometimes they did things that were bad even though they did not want to, like something else was causing them to do that.

G: Aha. Well, nothing causes you to. Even if you had what's called the demonic there, it's free will. You make your own free will choices. So, we'll ask Christ to come in, and if there's anything there that's dark clinging there, he'll get rid of it immediately.

Siddhananda: (pause). Yeah, i did see a circle of darkness, and it's funny because this stone is like a circle of darkness (showing the stone again).

G: Oh, yeah.

Siddhananda: So, i see a circle of darkness with Christ imagery there. It is being cleansed, pretty quickly.

G: Yeah.

Siddhananda: Pretty quickly, because i think it was more like a seed, as they were saying. i don't think it was a real big evil thing, i think it was just things that he did, like regular stuff.

G: Yeah, i didn't feel like it was a huge demonic or anything like that. i think it's just his choices and he's justifying his choices by saying "i couldn't help it, there was something there!" No, no, no (laughing).

Siddhananda: Yeah, right. (laughing). And i think it was just some regular stuff that he may have done that isn't so good, but, not something big.

G: Right.

Siddhananda: Christ is there and that imagery of the two roads with the fork is still there for him. So, i wonder if we should put him back by the healing center for a little while.

G: Yeah, we can put him by the healing center for a little while, but, that should clear up pretty quickly.

Siddhananda: i think so, too. i don't think he was a big bad man or anything.

G: i don't think it was anything major. i think he just talked himself into it, that "i must have this spirit that's making me do this!" (laughing).

Siddhananda: (laughing). Instead of "hey, let me give myself a wake up call and stop doing this."

G: Yeah, it's what the devil made me do. (laughing). No, the devil didn't make you do anything. It's the devil ego.

Siddhananda: He got a thought in there and just ran with it. That's what he did.

G: Yeah, that's it.

Siddhananda: You're not going to get away by saying you can't help it, because you can help it!

G: Because you can. It was a choice you made, so you need to make other choices.

Siddhananda: If it were true that you couldn't help it, then there won't be free will.

G: Exactly. The fact that there' free will.. (smiling).

Siddhananda: We're not buying it (smiling).
