The Music of Life

Siddhananda: I think this stone is the smallest one we've had here. See how cute that is (showing a tiny, red stone)?

G: Yeah, it's pretty small. Blood red stone.

Siddhananda: It does look like the moon turned colors.

G: It does. It looks like the blood red moon.

Siddhananda: It really does have that same coloring to it (closing her eyes). So, I see that little stone, and inside there's a glow happening. It's quiet. I'm asking if they have a question or a message.

G: Or, did they just come to hang out?

Siddhananda: Sometimes that's the thing (smiling). It's a nice energy so far. There's something rising from it. It looks, interestingly, like an instrument, but I'm not sure. Like a musical instrument, ... haha ... there's a lot of different kinds of instruments, you know. Guitars ... hopefully they don't sing a song. I don't want to sing it for them today (smiling slightly), although I would ... that's the thing, but ... (speaking with a rueful expression on her face).

G: Hey, if you were Kanut (singer from the Gypsy Kings,) or something, we'd be all over that (kidding with Siddhananda)!

Siddhananda: Yeah, well, it would come through me. It would be my voice (speaking with theatrical drama and gesturing with her hand as if sound was flowing out of her mouth), and ... you know ... (tilting her head to one side and pulling one corner of her mouth up as if to say it might not sound as nice as Kanut's voice).

G: (laughing) A nice Gypsy song right now would be very nice.

Siddhananda: I do hear some strumming on that guitar (laughing as she speaks), so watch out here it comes! It looks a little different though. There is some strumming. It's almost cello-like, and someone is swaying with it. It's part black and part white, and someone is swaying, doing their cello work on there (gesturing to indicate a bow being pulled across the strings).

G: Oh, nice!

Siddhananda: It is a being of light wanting to play some music for us (chuckling softly), but we can't hear it.

G:
So, we've got some music (smiling bright).

Siddhananda: I can't quite hear it yet. I'm just seeing it. I hear a little bit there. Very slight. (leaning her head to one side listing intently. She begins to gently sway as her hand moves as if drawing the sound to her ear). Okay, it's there ...

Spirit:

Take my heart to love
Lead me to still waters
Drown my heart in truth and bliss

G: Nice.

Siddhananda: Nice (laughing with pleasure). It's got a sweetness to it. Very nice! You could sit and listen to that (smiling).

G: A very heart centered song (smiling).

Siddhananda: So, they wanted to play that. Let me see if there is anything else.

Spirit

Become one with the music of life
like the best love story.

G: Yes, one can submerge into music absolutely. So, get carried away by your song (smiling gently).

Siddhananda: That's right. That's really nice (placing her hand on her heart). They're transmitting a heart. So, how sweet is that?

G: That was very nice.

Siddhananda: I could hear a subtle little playing in both of my ears. Amazing!

G: Stereophonic, huh?

Siddhananda: Is that what the name of that is? What does that mean?

G: Yeah, if you hear on both sides, it's stereophonic ... in stereo.

Siddhananda: Oh, in stereo even ... wow!

G: In stereo ... not mono.

Siddhananda: Oh, mono is one.

G: One.

Siddhanada: What’s the surround sound?

G: That's stereophonic.

Siddhananda: Okay ... wow (laughing)! Stereophonic, what more can you say?

G: (laughing with a big smile on her face)
