Unchanging IS

Siddhananda: (showing a stone) They’re just saying when you are not still, then time is born. When you are still, then it’s timeless.

G: That’s true!

Siddhananda: They’re kind of showing that difference of that, time is born with movement of mind.

G: Exactly, manifestation comes with movement of mind … all of manifestation, yeah.

Siddhananda: Exactly! Kali, they said Kali time. That’s part of it.

G: The more one runs, the quicker they go, the more crap they get (laughing).

Siddhananda: Yeah, that’s true.

G: (laughing)

Siddhananda: (smiling) Keep following along, huh?

G: Exactly.

Siddhananda: Seeing if they need any help, or ...

G: Doesn’t sound like it’s one that’s going to need any help (laughing). If the consciousness is coming in with that, I would say they are pretty far ahead of the game there.

Siddhananda: Absolutely, if they got that much (pausing). Yeah, they’ve got a nice balance to them.

G: They may have something to share. That was a good one to share right there in itself.

Siddhananda:  They want to speak more to the oneness of things.

G: Okay.

Siddhananda: You know, how the mind wants to separate out night and day, here and there, this experience, that experience, he/she, you/they … all that.

G: Right, it wants to divide, put everything into classifications, divisions and boxes.

Siddhananda:  Exactly, and they're saying that’s all it can do.

G: Right.

Siddhananda: That's because it’s a ray. It’s a ray like the original source, and then you’ve got the rays that are separate and distinct. So, that’s all it's made of. That’s all it can do. So, don’t expect it to give truth, or have truth in it. So, don’t look there.

G: Right.

Siddhananda:  They're just wanting to speak to those kind of things. You see in the phenomenal world ... night/day, moon phases, sun changing … is not… that’s a reflection, you know. The mind takes those things to be real and separate.

G: If one goes really to the heart of any of those, they’ll find that one, unchanging IS that runs like a thread through all of it, yet is never touched by any of it.

Siddhananda: (closing her eyes) Right, and then they are saying, again, that you’ll have full enjoyment of all those things, but it’s a different consciousness then.

G: Right. It becomes the Lila. It becomes the play … what they call the play of consciousness rather than the drudgery, or, you know, being disillusioned by it. One understands exactly what it is. It doesn’t mean that you enjoy it any less. You can enjoy it fully.

Siddhananda: That’s a nice message and they just want to reflect a heart.

G: Thank you for that, that is a very nice message.

Both Siddhananda and G gesture with their hands on their hearts.

So easy to get caught up in the classification of things. Once one sees that the source of the classification is mind, then it is easier to let go of them, and to fall back into the stillness that lies underneath it all. Beautiful message that points one into the stillness within.
