Frog Wisdom

Siddhananda: (showing a green stone) This green is very nice, and, as you say, very pond-y.

G: Pond-y (repeating comically).

Siddhananda: Pond-y (smiling).

G: A little mossy.

Siddhananada: We made up a new word, pond-y ... pond-y-esque (saying with dramatic flair and chuckling).

G: Pond-y- esque (smiling). It reminds me of moss under the water ... this beautiful (wiggling her upward pointed fingers like moss moving under the surface of the water).

Siddhananda: Totally. In a good way.

G: Yeah, a nice moss.

Siddhananda: (closing her eyes) There's that little pond-y-esque rock (taking in a deep breath). Okay, I'm seeing a kind of frog type energy. I hope I don't see another little kid coming up again!

G: hahaha ... that little kid with no teeth.

Siddhananda: hahaha ... I know, he was so cute.

G: (making a face and putting her thumbs against the sides of her head, wiggling her fingers)

Siddhananda:  mischievous little thing!

G: (laughing heartily) They're monkeys, I'm telling you!

Siddhananda: Oh, gosh! So, it's a little frog, and they are reflecting a pond, which is kind of cute. There's a pond. There's lily pads, and the frog is leaping from lily pad to lily pad like frogs do, enjoying themselves and catching dragonflies. So, let's see. Is it about the frog, or is there more? I do see someone picking up that frog, and they're just looking at it. They're just kind of communing (chuckling).

G: A little frog communing today?

Siddhananda: They're like holding it (pretending to hold the frog up to her face) and looking into each other's eyes (laughing). You know, anything can happen. You can be in love with the whole bit like that (closing her eyes). So, the legs are long ... kind of hanging down like that.

G: (laughing with Siddhananda)

Siddhananda: There's always a weird one in the bunch! We seem to be going pretty well, but we have ...

G:  ... until the dangling frog legs (laughing heartily with Siddhananda).

Siddhananda:  ... and the throat is bulging out, but they're holding it with love. They're looking deeply into that frog with love. So, ... Oh, maybe that's like their prince charming in that frog (laughing)?

G: Maybe, they're looking for their prince charming in that frog. I hope they're not going to kiss the frog.

Siddhananda: No, exactly, and it turns into a handsome stud, and there they are by the pond. I don't know, but they are looking at it lovingly. (closing her eyes) Okay, so let's see what is happening. I see a bit of light coming from both the frog and the energy that's holding it. So, what do you have to say to us today?

Spirit: Hopping is not good in the mind.

Siddhananda: The hopping mind - not good (laughing silently and grinning).

G: Hopping mind is not good, no. You kind of want to sit on that lily pad for awhile.

Siddhananda: You have to contain the hopper (saying with a comical straight face). So, you just pick it up, and it's just getting tamed with this beautiful ... penetrating energy of love (smiling). So, the frog is still now (chuckling). I'm sorry, I'm doing my best to [describe] what's coming.

Spirit: Hopping not good. Stillness better.

Siddhananda: That's about all (leaning back with the hand on her heart in amusement).

G: That's it. A little frog wisdom for the day. So, may he continue to impart the frog wisdom to the rest of the pond area (laughing).

Siddhananda: (mimicking a frog jumping over toward G with her hand, ribbit-ing with each leap)

G: Teach them a little stillness instead of the hopping.

Siddhananda: There you go (laughing). Yeah, good.

G: Froggy, froggy (giggling with a big grin).

Siddhananda: We always have to have a little quirky thing in there just to make sure people are awake, I guess.

G: Hey, you never know who is coming through, or what's coming through. A little frog energy.

Siddhananda: You know, when you have nature energy, you don't know. I mean, there're so much that's unknown.

G: Hey, it's all conscious, so even with our froggy energy, we appreciate that they've got that lesson ... that it's better to be a little stiller than to be hopping all the time. So, we'll take that (chuckling). For a frog, that's a very good observation.

Siddhananda: That is good, and, I think, with the way the mind hops, too ... just keep it not so hopping from here to there, but centered in that heart. Okay. We can take lessons from that.

G: Exactly.
